ISO sensitivity in still image is 50/100/200/400 - automatic or manual switching - and in movie is auto. Maximum ISO is 800 with Anti Shake or 3200 with high sensitivity BESTSHOT modes.

Anti Shake compensates for blurring caused by shaky hand or by moving subjects. White Balance has auto, manual and six fixed modes and the flash system includes flash on/off, soft flash, red-eye reduction and auto.

The Casio EX-Z1200 has 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom giving 12x when used in combination and there are 7 lenses in 5 groups, including aspherical lens. Focus modes include: macro, manual, pan (video only), infinity, auto and AF assist light with ranges of normal, macro and manual. The Casio Exilim EX-Z1200 is powered by a proprietary Super Life rechargeable lithium-ion battery (NP-40) which, in continuous playback, has an approximate life of just over 8 hours.
