 The Brand New, Unlocked Sony Ericsson P1 is a 3G Smartphone which provides it's user with full office applications on their mobile handset. The user can view & edit documents on the move & have their business with them at all time. The P1 comes in a silver & black coloured casing which weighs a total of 124 grams which is a good weight for a 3G Smartphone with high capabilities. The handset is slim & easy to operate with an overall size of 17mm deep by 55mm wide & 106mm long. The Smartphone comes with an impressive large touchscreen which comes complete with a stylus. The stylus fits neatly into the side of the phones casing which is ready & waiting to be used. The user can navigate their way through menus easily by touching icons & menu options on the screen. The screen displays up to 262,000 colours on a high resolution screen. The keypad is neat & compact which is positioned below the large colour touchscreen. The phone comes with Symbian operating system which is an operating system designed for mobile devices. The P1 comes with a handwriting recognition feature which allows the user to simply us the stylus to write a character & the handwriting recognition feature will transform it to the appropriate character from a keyboard. The 3G Smartphone comes with document readers & editors which allows the user to use their mobile device like a mobile office. The P1 comes with a built in camera feature which is a 3.2 megapixel camera complete with focusing feature. The camera comes with a 3 x digital zoom, auto focus feature & a photo light for duller environments. The Sony Ericsson P1 can be used to capture, edit, store & share still photos. The 3.2 megapixel camera provides the user with direct interaction with the phones messaging features & services. The user can capture moving video with the camera feature which provides a real feel to any recording. The user can record, store, share & stream video footage on their P1. The Sony Ericsson P1 comes with a second built in camera which is used when the user is using the 3G video calling feature. The user can take part in a face to face 3G video call & enjoy talking to their 3G videoing contacts in real time. The video call allows the user to see a live video stream of their 3G video calling compatible contact which includes the contacts surrounding & environment.The user will never be short of entertainment as the P1 comes with embedded 3D games, a media player & a built in FM radio feature. The 3G Smartphone supports Bluetooth stereo A2DP which allows the user to enjoy a wireless experience. The built in music features include a music recognition feature known as TrackID, a ringtone composer known as MegaBass & a PlayNow music feature which provides a fast & easy music download service. The 3G Smartphone comes with 160 Mbytes of internal memory plus the user can expand their phones memory by inserting an additional Memory Stick Micro (M2) memory card. The Sony Ericsson P1 comes complete with a desk stand, a portable handsfree, a spare stylus, USB cable & PC software. The 3G capabilities of the Sony Ericsson P1 give the user the speed they need from their Smartphone. The user can access broadband Internet, take part in video calls & stream video quickly & easily. The user can use an infra red, WLAN, USB or Bluetooth connection to connect their 3G Smartphone to compatible devices to transfer files or download information. The phone works over GSM 900, GSM 1800 & GSM 1900 with UMTS 2100 which is a tri band technology Smartphone which will switch between bands automatically. |

Fun-tastic 3G Smart Phone!
Great buy and fast delivery from cells wholesale.com. This is one of the smallest candy bar smart phones and the lightest thats fully loaded and fits right into your palm. Easy to use rocking key QWERTY illuminated key board. Programable short cut button,last menu return button. Cruising the web or using phone menus is a breeze with the point and click scrolling dial. Press the dial in for a second and the phone executes voice command dialing. Very good voice sound quality. Phone receiver reception very good. I am able to receive stronger signals from same provider I am using, full bars. Sharp touch screen color display, Pix and text images are great. Loaded with bluetooth, I use the bluetooth stereo headset and it sounds fantastic. Has infra red and USB connections. Cruising the web or down loading files using the WLAN mode is easy to connect to wifi site when traveling, has very fast data rate performance. If using the T-mobile web service it requires proxy ip address and port number setup and will take time to configure manually with help from service provider. Phone is very flexable with setup options for WEb connections, E-mail, SMS, MMS,and VPN proxy options to connect to corprate accounts. Auto configuration is available, however was not available from T-mobile or Sony Erricson for this phone. Sharp 3.2 Meg still or video camera. Good auto focus, point shoot button, lots of other features. Images require good lighting for quality shots. You can illuminate subjectwith flash in dark situations, but requires subject to hold pose a second longer to capture. Loading contact lists and music into micro memory is easy and fast. Phone has Quick Office, Business card scanner,loaded with user tools (calculator, conveter etc...). Sony PC sync tool works great, easy to use in transfering and backing up phone data. Phone has buiilt-in FM radio, but you need to connect wired head phone set for FM antenna. Music player works great and user friendly.
Phone comes loaded with games and a sound recorder. Good phone web browser easy to book mark sites and recall. High-tech phone from Sony Erricson. VIP support available from Sony Erricson for this phone. Video calling only available through 3G service providers. (AT&T) T-mobile does not provide 3G at this time. Web data rate performace improved using 3G.
